The Deer Johns are a dynamic quartet of musicians hailing from Adelaide, Australia. They play predominantly indie-rock, using drums, guitars, electric bass, double bass, keyboards, accordion, glockenspiel and mandolin. They blend this with four-part harmonies to create a sonorous whole. The Deer Johns have played to sell-out crowds in Adelaide since 2011, and in 2016, they ventured across to the UK to perform at music festival Lakefest, followed by a run at the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2021, they released their debut 5-track EP “COMA”, with a sellout show at Adelaide Fringe featuring 18 live original tracks, with a guest cellist and trumpeters.
