SOLIDARITY BEHIND BARS
Presented by Eskatology and Reality Rhymes, Solidarity Behind Bars is an urban showcase of talented local artists raising awareness for black deaths in custody, which will be held on beautiful Kaurna Land, at the Living Kaurna Cultural Centre. Money raised will go towards the Black Deaths in Custody Movement. This will help them continue their support for families of those who have had a loss behind bars due to wrongful treatment.
The showcase will see a Welcome to Country by Uncle Tamaru, Adelaide’s DJ Dreaded on the decks, and live performances by Monsta G (U.S.A/AUS), Eskatology, Sonz of Serpent, Lyndsay Boys Gang, Caper, and Kahl Wallis.
Various other events will showcase throughout the day including graph walls, and B-boy/B-girl dance offs, and a Lowrider exhibition.
Light refreshments will be available to purchase.
