PS: We’ve rescheduled The Western Distributors from Sydney, to play at the SMF21 in October.

THE LINCOLNS
The Lincolns are a 4 piece Teddy Boy Band from Adelaide, Australia, who play a mix of high energy Rock n Roll / Rockabilly classics and originals with their own unique style and sound. Dressed in drapes, drainpipes and creepers, The Lincolns… Tony (Guitar), Walter (Drums), Kingsley (Bass), and Lee (Vocals) have become mainstays on the Australian Rock n Roll scene, appearing regularly at dance venues and festivals across the country. Two number one cd’s in the UK Rock n Roll charts and recent sell out European shows are the main highlights of a career that spans just on seven years. As The Lincoln’s say, when the Ted’s are boppin’, there’s just no stoppin’ that Teddy Boy Rock n Roll.

MEANWHILE BACK AT THE RANCH
Meanwhile Back At The Ranch play Hillbilly Jazz, Texas Swing, Western Swing, call it what you like! It’s the most hybrid of all Americana styles, containing elements of New Orleans jazz, Texas string bands, Hillbilly Boogie, Old Timey fiddle breakdowns, Gypsy Jazz and more. Comprising three members of Nobody’s Sweethearts – Ted Keeley (vocals), Wilson Main (rhythm guitar) and Ashley Turner (fiddle) they are joined by in demand lead guitarist George Klirononmos, the fabulous drummer Enrico Morena and dynamic bass player from the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Belinda Kendall-Smith. Delving into the golden era of 1930s and 40s Western Swing, and paying homage to the greats of the genre such as Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys, Tex Williams and The Light Crust Doughboys, Meanwhile Back At The Ranch are one of only a few bands in Australia playing this swinging and entertaining vintage music.
