Featuring SA blues-folk vagabond Jimmybay, Delta blues purist Oliver Kabbani and Broken Hill songwriter Aimee Volkofsky this one is set to be one hell of a foot-stomping night of blues, folk and nomadic story-telling in the beautiful Uraidla Institute.
Jimmybay has been travelling from town to town in his beat up kombi van for the past five years and has captured audiences with his honest storytelling style and mesmerising live performances drawing inspiration from his own experiences and stories told by other travellers.
Oliver Kabbani is a story-teller who takes his lead from classic bluesmen playing his way through the 1920’s Mississippi Delta all the way to the 1940’s of Chicago.
Aimee Volkofsky singing songs inspired by nature and the unnatural mythology of far west NSW.
Hills Folk Music organise community friendly folk music events on Peramangk country ~ Adelaide Hills that celebrate live original music, story-telling and care for our natural environment.
