The market is the heart and soul and centre of any culture and OKipos is aiming to be the multicultural heart of Whyalla. We are fortunate to live in such a multicultural and diverse city and we would love to celebrate each and every culture that makes up this great community. Established in 2017, OKipos is a local fruit and vegetable market and coffee house operating on the weekends. Our philosophy is zero waste and sustainability. We sell only in season F&V and local and SA produce where available. A lot of the produce is grown on site and in various home gardens throughout Whyalla. Our customers are encouraged to bring in excess F&V and swap out for other produce or simply grab a coffee. We are seeking out various cultural events or groups who would like to utilise our garden space.
