COVID-19 Updates

Umbrella Festival has moved its dates to reflect and protect public health and safety policy, and will now take place from September 18th 2020 – October 4th 2020.

The health and safety of the South Australian community is paramount to Umbrella Festival, and we are closely monitoring government announcements related to mass gatherings.

Should circumstances change, and it is deemed unsafe to go ahead with our new dates, we will publicly announce a postponement on July 1st 2020, and we will go ahead in 2021 instead.

We hope that Umbrella Festival will be a great opportunity to celebrate and welcome back live music in South Australia. In the interest of supporting our local music industry through this trying time, Umbrella will be waiving all registration fees for 2020. ALL registrations are FREE.

The 2020 Key Dates for Umbrella Festival are as follows:

All registrations for printed program close: Wednesday 29 July 2020
2020 Program Launched Online: Monday 3 August 2020
2020 Printed Program hits the streets: Wednesday 19 August 2020
All registrations for online program close: Tuesday 1 September 2020

Should Umbrella Festival go forward in 2020, we will be working with participating South Australian venues to ensure adequate space per person as per government legal requirements, as well as strict hygiene procedures.
